In my history class we are learning about the Roaring Twenties. There were a lot of changes happening. For example women were being more free and they started to dress differently. They started to were short dresses, they started going to parties at night. Women who did all of this were called Flappers.I like how women started to do what they wanted to do not what men told them to do. In cities they were speakeasy which were like secret clubs were people could go and drink alcohol and just have fun. Alcohol was illegal so they had do be careful not to get caught. Other changes included Christianity. There were churches in cities that were considered sinful. Los Angeles was a city that many people thought it was a sin city. But now it was the capital of Christianity and the capital of Hollywood. This century was really interesting because United States went through a lot of changes.
